VOLUNTEERS NEEDED.
Pinckney Community Youth Development Initiative Foundation is a nonprofit community based youth development center located in the heart of downtown Pinckney. Our mission is to create collaborative community partnerships dedicated to empowering youth.
Click the button below if you want to volunteer your time!
Also, we have an amazon wish list that was created to show items we need and also items we want to improve our space. If you are able to help with anything we would appreciate that as well!

We believe growth happens most where people, especially youth, can be themselves and share ideas in a welcoming atmosphere. We encourage open discussion and promote youth leadership.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to grow along with our evolving community. Enter your contact information below if you are interested in supporting our initiative!
Our doors are open Tuesday, Wednesdays, & Thursday from 3-6pm, as a place for youth to go and hang out, have a snack, or play a game. We also try to offer late night and offsite events.
We are often open during events in the park, such as Art in the Park, Food Truck Fridays, Hootin' in the Park, Movies, Parades, and holiday themed events.
Our biggest need is you!! The doors cannot stay open without volunteers willing to be there with the students.
The HUB is a safe place for Pinckney youth to spend time together! We have many different electronic and board games (Including a foosball table), free Wifi, an assortment of sports equipment, supplies for school and art projects, and lots of other things to do. There is even a space to just hang out and talk!
We also have snacks available for those after-school munchies, including things like pizza rolls, chicken nuggets, and an assortment of other individually packaged snacks.
Before a student can be left at the HUB without a parent present, we must have a waiver on file. You can fill out a paper waiver or fill out this one online.
Bussing from PCHS and Pathfinder is available for all after school hours. Before you can sign up here you must have two things:
1) Student Waiver form filled out (see link)
2) Destination Request through PCS Transportation Department (found on the PCS website under Departments -> Transportation). Fill out using "The HUB" as both the name and address for the second destination.
NOTE: Tutoring starts in mid-September. Signup will be available one week before.
Tutoring is available on Mondays at the Hub, Tutoring sessions are by appt. only (one session per week.) Please make sure you cancel if you cannot attend.
We have an ongoing need for volunteers. 1.5 hrs once a month, once a week or special events only, we need you! We are limited on what we can offer due to lack of volunteers.
Please contact us via email or stop by for more information!
Donate to our GoFundMe page so we can purchase more items! Top purchases will be new technology for students, additional games requested, food, and summer activity expenses.
Below is an Amazon Wish list set up to list the items that we both need and want. Many of these items do not need to be new, as long as they are in decent shape and working. The list includes student request items and supplies to keep the building going.
Please see below for a list of events for both the HUB and ones where the HUB will be participating.
